The depth of color and rugednes found in landscapes and seascapes are the inspirations of my paintings.  I seek out from nature gestural lines and shapes that create both harmony and tension.  My goal as an artist is to capture the essence of form and keep its spontaneity and express it through the physical world of line, shape and color.

I am a graduate of Parsons School of Design, New York City, with a Bachelor of Fine Arts. My work has been shown and sold in exhibitions and galleries in New York, New Jersey, and Israel. Throughout my art career, I have taught painting and drawing in various institutions such as high schools and elective art schools. During the five years that I lived in Israel, my work was represented through the arts department of the kibbutz movement, exhibiting at the Kibbutz Artzy Building in Tel Aviv in a one woman show and Kibbutz Ein HaShofet in Megido, in a two person show.
